Scrap & Dust Removal System

UN1F1ED² Global Packaging is a provider of innovative, high-quality packaging solutions. AES was contracted to provide a scrap removal and baling system with dust control for their location in Sutton, MA. The system collects scrap from six points of generation, including die cutters, folders and gluers, and other production equipment. AES provided a new shredder, which is also integrated into the scrap system. The scrap material travels through pneumatic conveyance ducting and is filtered by a 60,000 CFM AirShark™ separator before dropping into an automatic baler.

AES provided a turnkey equipment and installation package with professional project management. Our scope of work included a full electrical control package with touch screen interface, rigging and installation, integration of all equipment, piping and components, structural steel fabrication and erection, start-up, commissioning, and training.
